Vienna

YouRban Festival is coming to Vienna from 7 to 10 May, 2026!

After Milan and Barcelona, this open learning and experience zone dedicated to circular economy and polymer recycling is coming to one of Vienna (Karlsplatz) for three days. Featuring a mobile recycling unit, a diverse educational program, workshops, and hands-on stations, the YouRban Festival is free and open to the public.

In workshops and guided tours, industrial plastic is explored not as waste, but as a material for transformation. Through practical examples, participants will discover how glass fiber–reinforced plastics can be turned into functional objects for urban spaces. Technical knowledge meets creative reflection, revealing the hidden potential of materials often considered useless. The sessions invite exchange and question how design can respond to ecological and social challenges.
