Project partners (Politecnico di Milano, Origoni Steiner, Fibereuse Tech, designaustria) showcased current activities on circular design during Milan Design Week 2025. This is benefitting YouRban with its participatory approach by adding on the knowledge on how many sectors can profit from design by using reprocessed fibers.
With involvement from YouRban partners and other material and design partners, the DeremCo exhibition explores how reprocessed waste materials—especially polymers—can be reshaped into durable, aesthetically compelling solutions for public spaces. Research companies and designers’ presence at the DeremCo exhibition illustrated how innovation is contributing and pushing boundaries and offering scalable, real-world applications for sustainable design.
