Project: The Forest Observation Platform
Author: Madeleine Beltrandi and Mathilde Magada Cahill
A modular structure to connect people with the forest — inviting them to slow down, explore nature, play, and engage their senses.

An interactive pathway through the forest
Addressing the lack of awareness and empathy towards natural resources, our project proposal is to create a structure which invites inhabitants into the forest, composed of different modular elements which act as both informational way-finding signs and urban furniture, creating respectful spaces in the forest for humans to learn and interact with it.
Key design principles include modularity for adaptability across different sites, structural durability and safety, sensitive coexistence with multiple species, and fostering awareness and education about forest biodiversity.
